REFLECTIONS

Experience

Upon reviewing the assignments and processes from the past fourteen weeks, I've come to realize the close connection we have with typography, often overlooked. These assignments have granted me a profound understanding of the significance of typography, design, and fonts. The seamless integration of these elements can effectively accentuate their individual strengths and contribute to a more impactful overall design.

Observation

During the font creation process, I uncovered a new observation: some smaller letters are actually longer than their larger counterparts. Although they may appear identical at first glance, this characteristic becomes apparent upon closer examination. In the realm of typography, the key lies in judiciously employing colors and skillfully arranging them to enhance visual appeal. Utilizing various shapes and fonts allows for the creation of a compelling visual direction,  and makes the overall design more attractive.

Findings

Within this template, I've recognized that the layout is a true test of a designer's adaptability. The design concept varies based on individual preferences, providing an avenue to discover and refine one's unique style, especially when crafting a personal brand. This swift encounter with the template has imparted valuable insights into typography and a grasp of essential design concepts such as color and direction. I'm eager to integrate this newfound knowledge into my daily life, recognizing its practical utility.
