LECTURES

Week 1

We received a brief introduction to the module and the upcoming assignments. Additionally, we reviewed some of the senior students' work to gain a better understanding of the expectations and requirements.

Week 2

Exercises

Week 1: E-Portfolio
Since our lecturer is not yet familiar with our work, this e-portfolio serves as a way to introduce our favorite projects and highlight the specific elements of motion graphics we enjoy. It's designed to help the lecturer better understand our creative preferences and artistic style.

Week 2:

I participated in an event organized by Taylor to showcase graduate student works.

The event exceeded my expectations in every way. I was greatly surprised by the impressive work of our seniors. Unfortunately, I could only participate for half a day on Saturday. However, I found inspiration in the fashion designers' creations, which will influence the customer designs for my future characters.

Event Photos

The works I liked the most were the 3D modeling designs by Vivian and the fashion costume designs by Dania Ong and Julia Wey Khai Yee. Vivian's airplane design really caught my attention; I wish my Blender skills could be as professional as hers—she is truly a master at it. The models by Julia Wey Khai Yee showcased the elegance and sophistication of a refined girl. The pure white color of the costumes, combined with intricate designs and the eye-catching bags, really drew me in. Finally, Dania Ong's design captured a state of drowsiness, utilizing elements like pillows, sleep caps, and pajamas to portray a lazy aristocrat's demeanor. The models' slow-paced walk perfectly conveyed the overall relaxed vibe of her collection.
