ADVANCED ANIMATION
PROJECT 3
INSTRUCTIONS
Project 3: Action Animation This project involved animating 5-to 10-second sequences of physical actions, such as fights, chases, or sports-related activities. To achieve this, visual references and a storyboard were needed to identify extreme and breakdown poses.

Progression 1: Blocking
For my action, I divided into two parts running and jumping.
So firstly as usual I start with posing the pose frame by frame followed by the video.
Outcome
Progression 2: Polishing In this stage, I focus on the finer details and frame checking.
The trail-out seemed too many frames, so I deleted some and adjusted accordingly.
Outcome
Progression 3: Final Animation
In this stage, I focus more on the camera movements.
Based on my storyboard, there are three camera angles: a front half-body view, a front full-body view, and a side full-body view.

REFLECTIONS
In this module, I learned about new features in Blender such as the timeline, graph editor, IK/FK rigging, and video importing tools, which were very helpful for my project. I am very satisfied with the outcomes of all my projects. The process of making animations is quite enjoyable, although it comes with its challenges. One major challenge is timing; my computer sometimes struggles to run Blender smoothly, causing delays and occasional freezing when playing videos. Another issue is with character positioning; occasionally, my characters float unintentionally in some frames.
Overall, this module has provided me with valuable experiences and skills that I can apply in the future. I look forward to creating my own characters in upcoming projects.
