INSTRUCTIONS
Project 2/ Shooting Practice & Editing
Project 2A: Production ShootThis project involves collaborative group work, where each member assumes a specific role during the filming process. Before filming, we were provided with a movie trailer storyboard to meticulously plan our scenes. In our group, the assigned movie title was "The Beef." Following the group filming, each member was tasked with individual responsibilities for post-production. This included fine-tuning the color tone, incorporating sound effects, and compiling the group name list.

ProgressAfter the filming, I downloaded all the video and audio and started adjusting.

Project 2B: Insta/ TikTok VideoIn Task B, we were instructed to create a self-titled Instagram story or TikTok video, adhering to a one-minute duration. Our lecturer wanted to see our creation in scripts and transitions.
ProgressInitially, I envisioned creating a video that delves into the moments leading up to the deadline rush for my assignment.

Subsequently, I opted for a change and decided to create a vlog, capturing my entire day in Taylor.

I began the video by capturing my morning routine, heading to school, and concluding with my journey back home.
Following the filming, I organized all the footage into a dedicated folder and proceeded to upload them onto a video editing application called Jian Ying (剪影).

REFLECTION
Throughout this project, I gained a clear understanding of the significance and roles associated with each position within the filming team. Effective teamwork required everyone to remain in their designated roles and maintain focus during filming. The overall experience was enjoyable, and I made significant progress. I particularly learned the art of adjusting color tones during the editing process. Additionally, I discovered the transformative impact of elements such as background music, lighting, and script variations on the overall style of a story, whether it be horror, comedy, or romance. Lastly, mastering the skill of utilizing the good luck mirror proved to be a valuable technique for enhancing the visual appeal of my videos.
