PROJECT 1 - SELF-PORTRAIT
~ Recap in Project 1 ~
Based on the briefing, I need to apply the design principles that I learned from the previous week (weeks 1-2)
Things to do and things before creating:
Suggested
- Mind map about 'Who am I?'
(Who am I? What are my hobbies? My favorite thing? Personality? and more...)
Requirements
- Think about life experiences
- Explore (record down) your surroundings.
Exp: family, friends, favorite, plant, building, and so on
After having the elements above, I start my self-portrait.

*This picture gives me an idea of how the stick man can move.
Idea Exploration
Figure 3.1
Firstly, when I finish the mind map (Who am I?), I want to portray my lazy moment. The sketch above presented my emotion when I was too lazy to move. The element used in this sketch is emphasis. my big face is the focal point.
Figure 3.2
Looking back at the mind map. Although I have different personalities and similar hobbies, I'm just a normal person who has the same facial features as others.
Figure 3.4
After the lecture feedback. I try to use two colors (black and white) to show that I'm just one of them. I am the one in the middle. As you see the middle one has the biggest size with a face on it. Emphasis is used in this design.
Final Outcome
Figure 4.1
Same to the design above the design element used in this design is emphasis. This design aims to show that although I am not very outstanding in public, I'm still the unique one in my life. The green line is the scanner. It scans through me and shows out what am I. The picture around me is my hobbies, and the smiley face represents that I am an active person.
