FINAL PROJECT
Final Project- Animated 1-page visual novel
Continue in project 3, choose one paragraph from the novel that conforms to one of the digital triptychs. Next, create one page of a visual novel or comic and animate it based on the paragraph.
Progress
I selected Act 01 (beginning) as the basis for my visual novel or comic page.
Figure 1.1 Chosen Act
1. One night, returning home, much intoxicated, from one of my haunts about town.
2. I fancied that the cat avoided my presence.
3. I seized him. When, in his fright at my violence, he inflicted a slight wound upon my hand, with his teeth.
4. I took out a pen knife from my waistcoat pocket, opened it, and cut one of its eyes from the socket!

Reflection
I thoroughly enjoyed the creative journey of crafting a visual novel or comic and bringing it to life through animation. My familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop from previous projects proved immensely beneficial, significantly reducing the time required for creation. One notable challenge I encountered during the process was ensuring the precise alignment of the shapes. After exporting the artboards to Photoshop, I noticed the presence of unwanted white areas along the edges, which required additional time and effort to align properly and re-upload.
Nonetheless, this project let me understand aligning elements and shapes precisely to the edges, is very important before exporting. Additionally, I gained practical knowledge in creating animated GIFs within Photoshop, further expanding my skill set.
