 Final Reflection

Although this module lasted only 7 weeks, I learned a lot from it. Initially, I thought it would be quite boring since I had already studied design principles during my foundation course. However, after the first class, I realized that this module was not what I had expected—it completely refreshed my perspective. Throughout the module, we were given a title and tasked with creating an artwork, either digital or on paper, using design principles. As the project progressed, it became increasingly interesting. By the end, I had learned how to approach creating artwork when I’m unsure where to start by considering the “how,” “what,” and “why” to infuse my work with meaning. I also explored the functions of Blogger.

I truly enjoyed this module, especially the process of observing other students' artworks, which always surprised me, receiving feedback from the lecturer, and developing my final outcome. Initially, I often felt confused by each project brief because I had no clear ideas, which made the creation process stressful. Sometimes, my sketches were too simple. However, through this module, I discovered more about my design style—I tend to favor cold colors in my work.

Areas I believe I can improve on include time management, better explanations of my work, and managing stress more effectively. Finally, I want to express my gratitude to my lecturer, Mr. Charles, for his valuable feedback on my final outcomes, and to my friends for providing inspiration.
